The Compton Group has completed numerous large-scale projects in Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asian countries. To better meet the needs of the domestic market in China, the Compton Group established a large-scale metal decorative materials comprehensive production base (Guangzhou Compton Zhigao Building Materials Co., Ltd.) in Panyu District, Guangzhou in 2008. This production base has an annual output of 3 million square meters and is mainly responsible for the research and development, manufacturing, sales, after-sales service, and technical support of Zhigao® products in the Greater China region. The sales volume of Compton Zhigao® metal products in the Greater China region has exceeded 10 million square meters.

Compton Zhigao® possesses strong technical strength, rich manufacturing experience, and is equipped with professional technical research and development personnel, continuously launching new products. In 2008, it participated in the compilation of the national standard "GB/T23444-2009 Metal and Metal Composite Ceiling Panels", and in 2018, it led the compilation of the industry standard "AS01-2018 Metal and Metal Composite Ceiling Panels". It also participated in the compilation of many standards and provided valuable opinions, playing a significant role in promoting the healthy development of metal and metal composite ceiling products in China and their integration with international standards. In 2018, it cooperated with major universities to establish the Compton Zhigao (China) Joint R&D Center and laboratory, dedicated to product innovation.

Compton Zhigao® was one of the first to pass the ISO9001 quality system certification, ISO14001 environmental system certification, and OHSAS-18001 occupational health and safety management system certification. Zhigao® products have also passed high-level certifications such as the China Green Building Materials Three-Star Certification and Type III Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
