Northwest Women and Children's Hospital is situated in the Qujiang New District of Xi'an City, which is the Women and Children's Special Hospital with the largest scale and highest standard in Northwestern China. Upon completion, the hospital will help alleviate the difficulty of getting medical service and hospitalization for women and children in Shaanxi Province.

The new Northwest Women and Children's Hospital is equipped with 1,000 beds and covers a total construction area of 123,775 square meters, of which the Outpatient Medical and Technology Complex covers 115,855 square meters, the Administrative Office and Training Building occupies 5,000 square meters, the Cord Blood Library 1,000 square meters, and the cafeteria, boiler room and other auxiliary buildings 1,920 square meters.

The construction of the hospital was started in 2011, after two years, the building has begun to take shape and has entered into the interior decoration stage.
